Restorative Yoga With Massage
A special workshop

Saturday, January 18, 2 – 3:30 pm
Slow down and draw your awareness back home to your body.
Be guided by Ginger through a series of restorative poses designed to deeply relax muscles.
Enjoy the release to be found in passive stretching, supported by bolsters and blankets. Licensed massage therapist Donna Quimet will Further release held tension when Donna offers a gentle myofascial massage.
Deep relaxation and massage both help body towards repair, growth and optimal immune function.
Ginger Sweeney received her 200 hour teacher certification from Hamsa Yoga Studio in Carleton Place, Ontario. She teaches Multi-level experience yoga, chair yoga for seniors, restorative yoga, and yoga for kids. Her interest is in sharing a general hatha practice guided by one’s internal awareness, and helping others to find their blissful, radiant Self on and off the mat. Aa a mom of 6, she loves to share her journey, encompassing physical and spiritual evolution. Ginger has a passion for inquiry into consciousness and the metaphysical: the Magic of Life is her greatest love.
Donna is a graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany, New York. She has been a licensed massage therapist by the state of New York since 2002. Donna has been working privately, as well as in the day spa and wellness industries for the last 17 years. Striving to effectively meet the client’s goals for their session, each massage is tailored specifically to the client. A firm believer in the connection between body and mind, she finds that massage is a viable modality in relieving both physical and emotional stress and has the ability to enhance overall health and well being.

Goddess Level I, Revealing Your Goddess Power

So many hear the whispers that seem to say create, inspire, listen, love, imagine.
More and more are being called to explore their inner selves.
The strong, passionate, calm beauty that lies just beneath .
Explore and share why time urges us to claim our inner goddess and share her with the world.
This workshop is for all women no matter where they are on their journey of self-discovery. We are fostering an atmosphere of support and encouragement while each of us makes steps to move forward on our personal path of purpose by Revealing our Goddess Power.
Sarah and Katie have partnered to create the Goddess series of workshops and retreats for several years.
Sarah Pickard, Reiki Master Teacher, is the proprietor of Upper Room Reiki. Sarah trains Reiki practitioners and sees individuals for Reiki healing and spiritual counseling at Trillium.
Katie Davis, RN, Reiki Master Teacher, is the proprietor of Golden Room Reiki, in Canton. Katie sees individual clients, teaches classes and creates workshops.

A Six-week Course,

Tuesdays, March 24 – April 28, 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm
Meditating on a consistent basis is a powerful message to ourselves
that we are worth our own attention.
In the course, you will learn a variety of basic techniques:
Embodied meditation practices,
Practice in a variety of ways: seated, standing, moving
Receive an introduction to emotional release techniques.
New and experienced meditators are welcome.
