About Trillium

Trillium Wellness Center is dedicated to creating a welcoming, integrative community where individuals can share yoga practice, meditation, Tai Chi, and access a variety of healing arts.

About Us

Our Story

Trillium Center for Yoga and Health, LLC, was founded in 2015 by three yoga teachers who came together out of a mutual desire to create a space dedicated to yoga, meditation, and healing arts services in Potsdam. Originally located in a storefront on Market Street, Trillium functioned as a yoga studio with one small, shared healing arts room. In August, 2017, Trillium moved to a larger space in the Community Center attached to First Presbyterian Church, Potsdam, including a spacious yoga room and four healing arts rooms. Discerning the need for a more diverse, sustainable leadership structure, exploration began towards creating a not for profit organization. On January 1, 2020, Trillium Integrative Community Wellness Center, Inc, was born as a 501(c)(3) not for profit charity with the ability to write grants, raise money for projects, and to partner with other organizations.
