Our Center

Our Vision

Trillium Wellness Center’s intention is to work in partnership to create a connected and inclusive community within an environment that is welcoming, healing, and accessible to all.

Our Story

Trillium Center for Yoga and Health, LLC, was founded by three yoga teachers who came together out of a mutual desire to create a space in Potsdam to teach yoga. Originally located in a storefront on Market Street, Trillium functioned primarily as a yoga studio with a small healing arts room. In August, 2017, Trillium moved to a larger space in part of the Community Center attached to First Presbyterian Church, Potsdam. Trillium Wellness Center now includes a spacious yoga room and four healing arts rooms, allowing practitioners to locate a variety of full and part time practices here.

Discerning the need for a more diverse, sustainable leadership structure, exploration becoming a not for profit began in 2018. On January 1, 2020, Trillium Integrative Community Wellness Center, Inc, was born. As a 501(c)(3) charity, Trillium Wellness Center has the ability to write grants, raise money for projects, and to partner with other organizations.

Trillium offers a variety of yoga classes designed for people of all ages and abilities. We also offer classes in different movement styles. We invite you to look at the class descriptions to find one that is right for you. Teachers are happy to answer any questions you may have about their classes and the style of yoga they teach. Most classes are ongoing, meeting weekly or biweekly. Some classes meet for a specific number of weeks, or session. Check the schedule and specific class listings for details.

Trillium offers classes in meditation. See our schedule for current class listings.
