Experience a new kind of meditation as Becky plays Tibetan singing bowls. The sound is created to sooth jangled nerves and encourage deep relaxation. Lie on the floor, cover yourself with a blanket, and allow yourself to be emersed in a soothing sound bath.
Studies have shown that when we are around sounds that are loud, grating and irritating, we experience a higher level of stress. When we are around sounds that are peaceful, stress can dissipate. Given the overwhelming amount of noise we may experience in a day, it is important to foster times in our life when we can come back into “tune” as with the healing sounds of traditional Tibetan singing bowls.
